INQUIZITIVE 2K25 – INTRA-DEPARTMENTAL QUIZ COMPETITION

Dignity College

In connection with the International Day of Commerce, the Department of Commerce & Management of Dignity College of Arts and Science organized an intra-departmental quiz competition titled “Inquizitive 2K25” on 7th August 2025. The event was conducted to promote awareness, teamwork, and knowledge in the fields of commerce and management.

The programme commenced with a welcome speech by Ms. Prasheeba R., Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, and Staff Secretary.

The Presidential Address was delivered by Ms. Sajina Palentavida, Head of the Department of Commerce (CA), who highlighted the importance of academic competitions in developing confidence and intellectual skills among students.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. M. Muhammad Aslam, Principal of Dignity College of Arts and Science. He appreciated the efforts of the department in organizing such student-centered programs.

Felicitation speeches were delivered by:

Ms. Niyatha P. Ramdas (HOD, Department of Management Studies)

Mr. Shaheed C. K. (HOD, Department of Commerce – Finance)

The quiz consisted of three rounds, with a total of 25 questions covering areas such as commerce, management, current affairs, and general knowledge. A total of 20 teams participated, comprising students from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of B.Com and BBA programs.

The quiz was effectively hosted by the Quiz Masters, Mr. Muhammad Dilshad and Ms. Ramshida, who kept the event energetic and interactive.

WINNERS:

1st Prize: Shahal & Shamil N. M. (2nd Year B.Com Finance)

2nd Prize: Muhammad Sajid & Muhammad Nasif P. (3rd Year BBA)

The winners were awarded cash prizes in recognition of their performance and enthusiasm. The prizes were distributed by Ms. Anagha and Ms. Anusha, Assistant Professors in the Department of Commerce and Management.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Muhammad Dilshad (Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce & Management, and Program In-Charge), who expressed sincere gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, participants, and organizing volunteers who contributed to the success of Inquizitive 2K25.
